Above you can see that I got the brake drums painted and mounted. I also got the hubs all done and painted. I am pleased with the outcome. Below can be seen a few pictures once I mounted up the tires. I love my Willys. It makes me happy. Wish I had more $ to make it happier. Oh well.
A decade long journey of the restoration of my great grandfathers 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A.

Suspension
So I'm not going to type much cause I don't really want to. Below is the suspension and axles and tires all mounted up and looking sweet. Next week we will drop in the engine, transmission, transfer case, clutch, bell housing, new drive lines, and hopefully even work quick enough to get to overhauling the brakes. Its coming along. Just need more time and money!

I GOT MY FRAME BACK!!
The top picture is the front axle and the next one is the rear. I have spend sooo many hours cleaning them so that I can paint em and get em mounted up. I am just about done. I would guess a few more hours of scrubbing and then paint!
Below are the pics of picking up the frame and its new look on life. It sure looks nice! I can only hope that I am doing justice to my grandfathers vision of what he would have done.

Taking the frame to get sandblasted and powdercoated. The guy that is doing it was about half of the fellow I was going to have do it. Thanks to Dave for putting me in touch with him. Thanks to Lee for taking me. I need a truck sooo bad.
Below are some quick pics before we took it to get powdercoated just so you can see the condition before and be able to compare after. Also you can see some of the metal work I so craftily did. Well done Dan!
